Unabashed: SLA Art Space Presents Its 5th Annual Group Exhibition Celebrating Women in Art

NEW YORK, NY  – SLA Art Space proudly announces Unabashed, its 5th annual group exhibition celebrating the work of women in art. The exhibition will be on view from April 4 – April 27, 2025, showcasing a diverse range of artists working across multiple disciplines, including video, photography, painting, printmaking, collage, ceramics, drawing, textile, and sculpture.

Curated by the SLA Team, Unabashed brings together 22 artists, each offering a unique perspective and artistic approach.The exhibition explores the power of authentic, unrestrained creativity, providing a platform for voices that challenge and inspire. 

“In today’s turbulent and unstable reality of political climate, women continue to face challenges both as women and artists,” states the SLA Team. "It is essential to confront and celebrate the power of diverse artistic creativity, fostering a thriving community through collaboration, dialogue, and shared expression."

Unabashed invites viewers to engage with a powerful collective narrative, honoring the multiplicity of experiences, perspectives, and modes of creation.

About SLA Art Space

SLA Art Space is a multi-purpose events space, established in 2014 by the Lithuanian Alliance of America, a not-for-profit organization. 

SLA Art Space is dedicated to creating and offering a wide range of cultural events including live performances, film screenings, panel discussions, and gallery exhibitions. 

SLA Art Space's mission is focused on the cultivation, presentation, and preservation of Lithuanian culture, it is equally determined to operate in a multicultural and inclusive manner, housing and promoting artists and performance events that fully reflect the cultural diversity of the New York City, inviting audiences of all ages and backgrounds to engage and share culture and art.
